First and foremost, I want to preserve the feeling of community that makes Elk Grove special.  Even though there was one less zero on the population sign when I was growing up here and we have now grown to be the second largest city in the region, I believe at our core Elk Grove still feels like a small town.  I work to protect these small town values while also focused on growing our local economy.

One of the most important ways to maintain our sense of community is keeping our neighborhoods safe.  I will always prioritize neighborhood safety, and have worked to increase funding to add more officers and support staff.

I am honored to have earned the endorsement of Elk Grove police officers because I back the good work they do.

Lastly, I believe in planned, orderly growth.  As we continue to have children and grandchildren, they will need places to live, work, shop and play.  As we continue to be a welcoming community, we must fund critical infrastructure improvements to combat traffic congestion.  I am proactive in providing a variety of housing stock, incentives to bring jobs here and finally deliver some fantastic community amenities that Elk Grove deserves.
